Day by day

So I'm still taking pictures with my cell phone - hence the blurry pictures.  I thought this might be better than nothing.  You must be perfectly still for my phone, and the kiddos are not, for the most part.  But these pictures are SUCH representations of their personalities.  Wow.  Both had a cookie after dinner.  Here are the results.
So day by day they're growing, but not very fast.  I took Buggy back to the doctor today because she's been acting like she did during her last ear infection.  Ears - clear.  But she has screamed the last two nights for over an hour before going to sleep. This is not normal for her, poor Bug.  I caved in a couple times and picked her up and rocked her.  I can't figure out if she's playing me or not -she's too cute to be evil! I think to myself.  But I know the real truth. I know her parents... She weighed in at 18 pounds 1 ounce this afternoon.  Still at the 10th %. Just a small Bug.
Elliot has morphed into this multiple personality child.  Lately he will whine uncontrollably and cry like he's dying while lying on the floor, full of drama, because you've made him CHANGE HIS SHORTS.  And then 10 minutes later he may come and give you a completely voluntary kiss and hug.  Is it possible to choose A or B? My mom today said it was not.  There ought to be a pill for this.  Or maybe I should be taking the pill?  ?   ?
I learned the other day that my cross-dressing neighbor's name is Zoe. A woman came looking for him by his name and I was clueless.  "He dresses like a woman sometimes," she said.  Ah, yes.  I pointed her right to his apartment.  I saw him walk by on the street one day and he seemed shy but smiled at me.
Michael's out preaching for summer RUF and the children have stopped screaming.  Must be time for ice cream and bed.   Have a good weekend, everyone.

Most of the above is why there is Mother's Day with gifts and all.... Happily or sadly, nothing lasts forever.

Actually Chris your description of Elliot sounds vaguely familar (perhaps his father). Remember the developmental roll-a-coaster. He is about to enter a new stage - Terrific Threes! It is usually a bit rough before things level out for awhile. Good Times are ahead! And bitty bit is precious!

I never answered your question re:cameras. I don't know what's out there as far as video goes but the Canon Powershot is still getting great reviews for a digital point & shoot. Email gwyn & tynan 'cause they both have great little cameras that do good video. I'll try to remember to ask them, too!

And yes, thank the Lord all of life is a phase! This too shall pass... and maybe you can find some nice ladies who think hanging out in a park is more fun than a mall (course it might just be so hot there it's all a wash!).

Hey, Chris, I was just reading the comment about cameras with great video. Nat just got me new one, and it takes fantastic video. He did a lot of research and he made a good decision. The videos are super clear and, while it's not high-def, they look good when you play 'em on a TV. Let's see. I have the Canon Powershot S5IS (8.0 megapixels). It's not a pocket size digital, but it's really a great camera. Not a SLR, but the step down. I can even get lens attachments if I want to start getting a little fancy. I wanted an SLR (but I have a baby and no job), and this was about 1/3 of the cost or less.
