Just a few more from Peoria

Grandma has a lovely large bathtub where the kids enjoyed a bubble bath, under the skylight. Michael and I took the older two to a park where Bug had some swing time. And here is my favorite male model.

Some from Peoria

While in Peoria, Ezra got to hang out with grandma, and meet GREAT grandma, as you see here. The man in the pink scarf is NOT a grandma, but my silly husband.

St. Louis Zoo

On our fly by trip through St. Louis we stopped by the zoo and met up with the Hendrix children and mama. And the tiger. We met up with him, too.

Savannah to St. Louis to Peoria to Griffin to Savannah

We made it. I am convinced that God kept us from killing each other, kept my back from seizing up, kept us going. We had a great trip. Though it was much too quick and we did not get to see everyone we had hoped, we did see many. Here you see Elliot holding up the map. I bought a pad of 30 maps at a teachers' store. Elliot loves maps, states, all things geographic. He must have gotten this from my mother, as neither Michael nor I are particularly directional. For about 7 hours the first day, Elliot made a tally mark in a state every time he saw that state's license plate on the road. It was a lot of fun, actually. Michael and I were still looking for license plates from far away long after Elliot was finished. We even saw California, Alaska, Montana, and New York.

Here you will see our friend, Mark, with his babies, Isak and Remy, and our baby, Ezra. And there is cousin Maggie, with the kiddos. Maggie has become the favorite cousin after her lavish care for the kids. We miss her, and all of the Ryans, and all of St. Louis...

Kindergarten End of Year Program

Yesterday was Elliot's end of the year program for Kindergarten. You see Ms. Satcher giving him his certificate in these pictures with all of the kindergarteners. Also, there were more awards given in the classroom. Elliot got the "Mr. Goodbar" award, for best behavior. Hm. Ms. Satcher tells us he is "perfect" in the classroom. Not so much at home. But if I were to pick one way, I guess that would be it.

Brothers

Elliot likes to snuggle with Ezra. He loves to have Ezra with him in his bed for a few minutes before he goes to sleep at night. Ezra pretty much puts up with anything, as long as he can breathe.
Elliot has been playing basketball for a couple of months now in our living room. He plays "Games" a lot, telling us who won and what the score was. Yesterday Scotland played Louisiana. I'm pretty sure Louisiana won that one. Elliot is fascinated with maps and all things cartography. Must take after his grandmother because he CERTAINLY didn't get it from me.
