Recently we had three very large pine trees and a cherry wood tree removed from our back yard for various reasons. It was like renting a show for 3 days. We sat in the playroom window and watched. I think I was even more excited than the kids about watching huge trees more than 2 1/2 feet in diameter fall over 10 feet from our eyes. The crane that lifted them onto the truck was the coolest thing. The operator simultaneously guided them safely onto the truck while talking on a cell phone. I kept thinking, shouldn't he be taking this more seriously?

I love free shows. This reminds me of the time when Ethan was really little and they tore up the entire street in front of our house and then replaced it. He was transfixed.
