Elsie's showing off her new bracelet here. Notice that it has the word "EMERGENCY" on it. She's fine, obviously. Somehow at the Chik-Fil-A in Brunswick, GA this weekend she managed to get Nursemaid's Elbow. Ever heard of it? Basically a bone got out of place. When they turned her arm a certain way to take an X ray at the hospital, they popped it back into place.
She was incredibly pathetic, holding her little arm and screaming when we touched it. But after the pop, she was back to her old tricks. Unfortunately she got no nap yesterday and we thought to ourselves, why not take the manic, tired child to the beach where she can run in and out of waves that knock her over. We lasted 25 minutes. The girl is absolutely fearless.
But we're home now, and she's fine. We even got some Amoxycillan out of the deal for her double ear infection.
