In the park

We had to take a family photo a couple of weeks ago for an RUF letter and this is one we didn't use.  I mostly just like Bug and Elliot's expressions in this photo.  They both look a little lost.

Buggie is definitely feeling better.  She's been much more herself today, flirting with us, laughing, creeping around the house.  Elliot has somehow slipped a bit back into whiny mode, but we're putting him through detox here.  

I think it was only 80 here today.  I got a tour of the big old house across the street that a student's father bought and is paying to have rehabbed.  It has 9 bedrooms and two kitchens.  Well, 2 1/2.  I lost count of the bathrooms and closets.  Unbelievable.  Built in the late 1800's, it has a porch that wraps around the entire front and part of the sides of the house.  We sort of live next to a dorm.  Half the dorm is coming over for dinner Wednesday.  A puppy, which Elliot I think has claimed as his own, also lives there.

Tomorrow is our first play group with some moms from the church here.  It's a bit different from the Grace and Peace nursery - we're going to a mall play place and having lunch in the food court.  I'm thankful for the invitation and looking forward to getting to know some women better.
