Michael gave me a fabulous Christmas present this year - a trip to see my friend, Jessica in Washington, DC. Because of Ezra's hospital stay, the trip was delayed until my birthday, which happened to fall on Easter this year. It was a WONDERFUL long weekend. I got a personal tour of the DC monuments including Jefferson and WWII shown here. I visited the Freer Gallery of Art, the Holocaust Museum (a must see), the Vietnam, Lincoln and FDR memorials. Jess and I biked along the Potomac, over the Virginia, all around Georgetown and even past the white house on our way to church, which was SO refreshing. It couldn't have been a better weekend.
