Fall

Last weekend Michael spent Saturday at a church somewhere in Georgia doing a missions conference. So we hooked up with the Bass family and spent the day at a bamboo forest/banana tree farm/pumpkin patch. It was fun. Here you see Elliot with James and Sara Katherine. Jimbo, a friend of Michael's from college, is here pushing Buggie in her stroller. She did get her own pumpkin, which she didn't want to let go of. We carved them this week. You may notice the baby doll with Elliot. Strangely, she has made her way into all of his activities. He feeds her, gives her naps, drinks, and hugs. We wonder how long the babydoll era will last.

oh my. after all the ribbing about jack carrying a purse (and the wonderful gift of a flowered purse for him!), i'm loving that elliot is carrying around a baby doll. i don't think there's a thing wrong with it, but i'm still loving it.

by the way- 2 weeks ago in the church nursery jack put on a little mermaid dress & twirled around yelling, "i'm a princess!" for a good 20 minutes. i guess we still have you beat...

Thanks so much for these photos! Looks like a good way to spend some time. Maybe Elliot is sad to see our little bug growing up and the baby reminds him of "the good old days"! We gonna get pumpkin photos?
