We went to the Arbor Day Farm

and Yaya got to listen to the sounds of nature.

The capitol building took 10 years to build, 1922-1932.

We saw the observation deck.

We looked toward our neighborhood.

Ezra and the catechism

So we've been trying to teach Ezra some of the catechism.  He has the first one down.  But then we get to the second, 'What else did God make?'  The answer, of course, is 'all things'.  But the food-loving Ezra consistently has been answering, 'banana bread.'  Of course a loving God made banana bread.  Go Ezra.

New house, old wallpaper

And we're in! We love our new (100 year old) house.  But the wallpaper in the kitchen had to go.  I bought a couple of plastic putty knives and the kids helped.
