A yard sale present
Elsie went to yard sales while with Yaya and Big Papa. She picked out this dog costume for Ezra, which we think he liked.

Heard Field Day 2012
Mrs. Hunter's class was mean competition for the other 1st grade classes. Izoni and Elliot celebrate their 1st place in the torch run.
Pre-K Graduation
Elsie is suddenly big. She went from a little girl to a big girl seemingly overnight. Here she is performing Slippery Fish at her graduation. We loved Miss Tammy, her teacher, this year. She has learned her letters and numbers, made more art than any other 3 children in her class, and keeps saying out loud, "watch out Kindergarten, here I come!" No kidding. She tells us she wants to be an artist when she grows up - and a mama. But maybe still drive a Coke truck. Big Papa, Yaya and cousin Jack came down for her graduation. She is holding the flower Jack brought her. Happy girl on a happy day.

My new outfit
A friend in St. Louis sent Ezra this outfit. Michael thinks he looks like a cuban man in it. I love it. Ezra obviously does, too.

37
I turned 37 last Tuesday. These were waiting for me on the dining room table when I got up (at 9am) after Michael let me sleep in.
Notice Elliot's card that promises "quite (quiet)" for 1 hour. What's funny is that he asked Michael how to spell quiet. This is what he got.
I love these cards. One of the perks of being a mom.

Switch around
So because of our suspicions that Elliot and Ezra were taking turns waking each other up too early in the mornings, we decided to put Elsie in with Elliot. So far, success. They especially love to jump from Elliot's bed to Elsie's. Ezra has learned to climb the step stool and get onto Elsie's bed. He's a climber, little stinker.
