Fall in Nebraksa

It's unbelievably beautiful.  Maybe it always has been and I just don't remember because I lived in Savannah for 5 years.  It's stunning.  

Some friends spent the night a few weekends ago.  Cana, who is the cutie on the swing with Elliot, left this outside his room after the little kids had gone to sleep.  CRACKED ME UP.

More Mahoney

The indoor playground was definitely the kids' favorite part of the whole weekend. 

Eugene Mahoney State Park

This weekend we went on our first ever family vacation.  Just the five of us, to a totally new place.  We went to a state park about 35 miles from Lincoln.  And it was wonderful.  It was beautiful, fun, and restful.  We roasted marshmallows, took bike rides, went to a play, did crafts, watched football, played on an indoor and an outdoor playground, worked on a puzzle, played games and miniature golf. Then we had to drive all the way home.  It took 30 minutes.  Perfect.
