Switch around

So because of our suspicions that Elliot and Ezra were taking turns waking each other up too early in the mornings, we decided to put Elsie in with Elliot.  So far, success.  They especially love to jump from Elliot's bed to Elsie's.  Ezra has learned to climb the step stool and get onto Elsie's bed.  He's a climber, little stinker.

Elsie went to Disney World

with Yaya and Big Papa last weekend.  And she came back a pink princess...

Boys weekend out

One of Elliot's friends had a birthday party on Tybee Island - a Wild Krats birthday party.  That will only mean something to you if you have a child, probably a boy, between 3 and 8.  They camped, roasted things, swang, and generally acted out the Lord of the Flies.
Elsie, Ezra and I were safely in the air conditioning.

Outfits

Elsie chose these clothes because, "see mama, flowers and flowers! They match!" I think she helped Ezra with his accessories.

Around the house

Ezra's favorite toy in the kitchen is the recycle bin.  It changes every day and is usually full enough that he can entertain himself for a good half hour.

 And here is what happens with your old laminate floor when you put a new one in and you happen to have children - they create a whole system of streets and label them.  It added to the white trash look we're going for in our back yard.

Best quote ever

Elliot and Elsie yelled to me in the kitchen today about the solar system poster Elsie made at school using bottle caps for planets, 'Mama, mama! Help! Uranus fell off!" They couldn't figure out why I was laughing so hard.
