First day of Pre-K

How did this happen? Little Bug is 4 and starting Pre-K? She and Papa went out for breakfast and then met me in the Pre-K parking lot. Elsie stormed in like she owned the place, saying hi to friends, finding her cubbie for her backpack and walking easily away after she kissed me. I however, was not so ready to go. I kept hugging her and telling her I would see her this afternoon. I think I was really telling me I would see her this afternoon. Little Bug. All grown up and at Pre-K. Can't believe it.

His 1st day

About half way to his classroom, Elliot turned around and said to Michael and I, "I can take it from here." As if we would just leave. Just because he's 6 doesn't mean we're not going to walk him all the way to his classroom on his first day!
