It took him a couple of trips, but Ezra definitely likes the pool now. The fountains, and a big sister help.

Fort Pulaski
Apparently there was free admission to all state parks in GA on June 9. So we went to Fort Pulaski. The last time we were there we had just moved to Savannah in 2008. We enjoyed a picnic lunch (in our own individual favorite areas), climbing around the fort, and canon firings. Though I don't think Elsie enjoyed the canons. She pretty much cried through all of them.

New dress up
What she doesn't know, and wouldn't care about, is that I got it at the Savannah Mission. As long as it shimmers, she's good.

Elliot's first sleepover
Bennett came to spend the night. As I type I can hear Elliot reading to Bennett from his joke book. They had a grand time, playing in the fort, wrestling, dancing, playing scrabble, eating pizza... Boy stuff, for sure.

A yard sale present
Elsie went to yard sales while with Yaya and Big Papa. She picked out this dog costume for Ezra, which we think he liked.

Heard Field Day 2012
Mrs. Hunter's class was mean competition for the other 1st grade classes. Izoni and Elliot celebrate their 1st place in the torch run.
Pre-K Graduation
Elsie is suddenly big. She went from a little girl to a big girl seemingly overnight. Here she is performing Slippery Fish at her graduation. We loved Miss Tammy, her teacher, this year. She has learned her letters and numbers, made more art than any other 3 children in her class, and keeps saying out loud, "watch out Kindergarten, here I come!" No kidding. She tells us she wants to be an artist when she grows up - and a mama. But maybe still drive a Coke truck. Big Papa, Yaya and cousin Jack came down for her graduation. She is holding the flower Jack brought her. Happy girl on a happy day.
